With that, our brief departure from linearity has concluded.
As I have previously stated, this particular style of narrative construction is out of my comfort zone, so to speak. Yet, I cannot help but admit the detour has allowed us to see certain sights I otherwise would have not stopped at. I realize now that my understanding of the unfolding present has been incomplete. Concerningly so. Moreover, I am certain that you, too, have found some of our select viewings to be alarming.
What I do next with the information gathered here... I am unsure. Like always, I find myself reluctant to step onto the stage. Though one thing remains true: the show must go on, and even during the most well rehearsed of productions, a director will occasionally find themself needing to give directions.
