[I1] Look at the lovely creature.

Beautiful, isn't it? Such a young thing, full of promise, curbed at its source before it even had the chance to flourish. I find its continued existence absolutely invaluable.

This is why I've toiled away for so long, despite the threat of oblivion inevitably rearing its ugly head time and again. There is a part of me that feels shame over the prices that have been paid to this end, but in order for life to advance, sacrifices must be made. What is the alternative? To be left with nothing, after so many worlds decayed and living souls lost? No. I refuse to embrace this necrosis that so desperately wishes to claim reality for its own.

And, inevitably, certain players are always of the same mind when it comes down to it. Even if it is at their own expense.
